Overview
This dynamic, 3-day in-person professional development intensive certification course is designed for professional athletes of all sports to jump start or level up your public speaking career and impact, whether that’s speaking from the stage, leveraging small group corporate opportunities, or sharing your story to build your brand or business. The Program includes group and individual coaching with Dr. Barbara Lash, a veteran News Anchor, seasoned Public Speaker and Media & Public Speaking Coach for professional athletes and teams. Program participants will focus on three areas:
- Signature Talk: Crafting an adaptable message/keynote that engages your audience
- Industry Ins and Outs: Learning the Business side of public speaking including how to find, negotiate and maximize public speaking opportunities
- Sizzle Reel/Highlight Video: Recording a professional video of you speaking on stage and extracting a 2–4-minute highlight video–a critical tool for building a speaking career and landing opportunities
- Bonus Content: Social media evaluation and template to position speaking on LinkedIn profiles; professional pictures on stage; copy of Speaker's entire talk

Program Schedule Breakdown
Pre and Post Immersive Commitment
- 6 hours (onboarding virtual meeting, bio, one-pager and LinkedIn prep and pre-work, self-paced video lessons)
- 3 hours (closeout virtual meeting, evaluation of sizzle reel and finalizing other course deliverables)
3-Day Immersive (In-person)
- November 2nd 2026: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (8 hours)
