Overview

The Howard Center for Investigative Journalism's investigative editing curriculum fills a hole in professional ranks, caused by decades of newsroom downsizing. Our 12-part curriculum on how to be an investigative editor takes you from ideation to story pitches to guiding data and multimedia investigations, to managing the unique opportunities and challenges of new technology. It represents decades of collected wisdom from the professionals who teach the next generation at ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
