Overview

This module contains practical tips for helping your reporters synthesize large amounts of information and highlights the value of footnoted weekly memos, writing as you go, and project outlines vs. story outlines. We'll also talk backout schedules and other tips for busy editors; as well as tips for guiding the writing process, including "what do we know" exercises, reporting for narrative detail, and the security of the "dump doc." Other topics include writing the methodology (nerd box vs. white paper) and the value of the "third way."
