The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Health Care Certification Program is a 20-week, project-based program designed to combine the valuable techniques of Lean and Six Sigma into one comprehensive course. Consisting of a 10-week online instructional portion and a 60-day applied project phase, the program follows the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) methodology; a customer-focused, fact and data-driven approach that guides continuous improvement and operational excellence. Participants will explore aspects of managing health care organizations to eliminate life-threatening errors, reduce wait-times, increase safety, and reduce expenses.

Accredited by the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, this certification program provides the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage Lean Six Sigma projects within the health care setting to improve patient and care delivery outcomes. You will also qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Professional Development Units (PDU) from Arizona State University.
